It is an app that helps you find your car. This is especially important if you're in a really large parking lot like at Six Flags. I don't know sometimes Costco or someplace like that anytime you know. If you're go to a parade and you park it somewhere in a random neighborhood. That's when this app comes in handy but you could also potentially use it to remember and return to any spot besides. Just where you park your car it's a fairly simple and straightforward app. But it has a lot of really cool features and customization with it.
So, let's jump on my phone and I will show you how it works. This is the app here car locator so I'm going to open it up for you and show you how it works. So, this is it here as you can see it's trying to find my current location. It's a little bit hard when you're in an apartment once. It does it is going to guide me back to my car. The blue dot here indicates where my car is in relation to me. As I turn my phone towards it. I know that's the direction I need to walk to get to my car. So, if you were holding your phone obviously you would be holding your phone like this. As you turn the right direction you see the blue dog will be right in front of you.
How to track my car
You know you're headed towards your car. That's what helps you get to your car. This is a split view that I have right now. So, show me the radar as well as showing where my car is on the map. Which is right there on the map and so it gets you to your car. You can also click over to the details tab and it'll spill out even more plain and simple for you. I'd say how long you've been parked there the maximum is hundred hours and 59 minutes. The reason it shows that is because I marked this a while back. When I was using it and it tells you how far away. You are from your car and an arrow that shows you exactly what direction you need to walk yet.

So, as you turn and face that direction, you'll see the arrow. That's when you know and there is pointing straight up that you are going. The right direction now you'll notice there's a little camera button down here as well as a marker. This is the marker is if you want to mark a new spot so this is going to always remember. The last spot you marked but say I'm opening it. Because I want to mark the new spot, I would hit that and work. A new spot the camera is in case you want to take a picture where your car. Maybe you want something visual to help you remember so you hit the camera. It allows you to take a picture where your car is. So, let's go back into the split view.

apps apk you can go into settings you can change it to radar view only. So now I'm only using the radar. If you're holding your phone as you walk towards it. It's right at the top there that's when you know you're headed in the right direction. If you want to save a new location where you're at right now and you can before go to settings. I'll just show you the more tab you can make notes for your location. You can say in front of and then type in a house the address of the house or the number of the house you’re in front of a photo for location. If you take a photo of it driving directions is great. Because maybe you want to use this app to save your location.

But you just want to use Google Navigator to get back to it. You can hit driving directions they don't open up your Google Maps with directions to the save location. If you want you can start navigator to navigate back. You can send your location if you want to send where you are to someone. A text message you can send location. It'll send the coordinates to the location save location manually. If for some reason your GPS isn't working too well you can save the location manually. It will allow you to enter the location history and favorites. So, show the history of the various places that you have saved in the past. In case you need to get back to somewhere reset timer that is to reset.
Can i track my car
As you saw my timers at the maximum. Because it's someplace I saved a while back but I could reset that if I wanted to and get coordinates. If you just want to get the coordinates of where you are. You hit that and it'll give you the coordinates of your current location going into settings parking timer notification. If you're parked at a meter and you only have an hour. You can check that and then you can set the time 52 minutes. Because I want to be safe from there an hour set and then reminder ringtone. You can select any of your ringtones for that. It will notify you in 52 minutes to remind you. Wait a second you need to put money in the meter so that's a little countdown time would help with that shake to save.

If you just want to set it so that whenever you shake your phone it saves your location. You can set it to do that. Once you've selected that you can then set how sensitive you want it to be to shaking personally. I don't know why anyone would be saving their location so much. Find it so hard to open their phone to press a button that they would need to shake to ship save it. But if you want to do that you can switch to metric units. If you want to satellite view this. If you want to show the satellite overlay on the map. As opposed to just the standard grid map this is where you select your default view. I have mine set to default to rate our maps but of course simple tap.
My car location
The menu button you can switch to just radar or just map background image. You can choose different images for the rate of background for the radar. They give you a way to do that so kudos to them for thinking of everybody radar suite mode. I had a radio which is where it starts in the center radiates out towards. As you get closer to your target you can start speaking really fast disable. The splash screen has that check that's just a splash screen that starts. When you initially open the app, I don't think it's necessary so I just say what it. But you can check it out. If you like it you can keep it status bar notification. So, this notifies you if a new location is automatically saved. If we go back to the app now you see my radar instead of radiating out. It's sweeping so that's most of it.

Let me show you how a few other little things work. Now that I've shown you the whole app. If I hit the picture button and that's going to take me into my camera. There's nothing to take a picture of right now. Because I have a black background behind here. But I press that button it takes a picture of my location and I save it. It takes me back to the app your photo has been saved for this location. So now when I'm looking for the location as I'm looking forward, I'm getting closer to it. It shows me the photo of where it is to help me find it. So that's kind of a cool feature and then this would be. If I want to change it so I'm going to change going to mark a new location.

Now it has saved my new location. If you start it then you can set it to be your one of your favorite location. Its locations and it'll save it in your favorites as you can tell. It's beeping faster that's because it just saved my location. I am here one other quick thing I want to show you about this app. Who is this right here is a widget this app comes with a widget? That is a save button so you get out of your car. You don't feel like opening the app and marking it whatever. You just want to quick save if you just click the save button right here. Then what that does is car locator will pinpoint your location on GPS. As soon as it does it will save it. So that way you don't have to open the app and then do it.
